2. The following message is displayed, confirm there is media loaded.
3. The temperature is detected and checked that it is stable.
4. The following message is displayed, remove the Curing IR Sensor from its place in the printer, but do
not disconnect it. Press Ok.
5. Point the Curing IR temperature sensor at your hand and check that the temperature changes.
6. Press OK to continue to finish the test or Cancel if the value did not change or is not as expected.
8.6 Heating Resistance
Description
This test must be used to introduce the steady and burst dryer resistors values whenever the Dryer Resis-
tors are replaced.
Procedure
1. Go to Diagnostic tests>8. Heating and Curing>8.6 Heating Resistors.
2. The following message is displayed on the front panel, use the up and down arrows to change the
resistor value to match with the resistor value of the ‘Steady’ resistor. This value is provided with the
part from the factory. Press enter when finished.
