Procedure
1. Go to Service Test Menu >1.2.2 Enable/Disable Firewall.
2. The utility checks to see if the firewall is enabled or disabled, and then prompts you to enable or
disable the firewall.
3. Use the Up and Down keys to choose to enable/disable and press the OK key to confirm your
selection. If the utility exits correctly, OK is displayed on the Front Panel.
1.2.3. Enable/Disable Logs
Description
Enabling logs is a useful tool when troubleshooting any error with the printer when the cause of the error
is not obvious, the printer can log all printer activity up until the error occurred, this can give clues as to
the cause and solution to the error. Logs can also be sent via E-mail if the problem must be escalated to
division for further analysis. This feature is also available in the Diagnostics Menu.
Procedure
1. Go to Service Test Menu >1.2.3 Enable/Disable Logs.
The printer asks you if you want to enable or disable logs.
2. Select Enable logs or Disable logs and press OK to confirm.
3. If you are enabling logs, the printer asks you to select the component or subsystem you want to
apply the changes to.
4. Select the component or subsystem and press OK to confirm.
