3. Use the Arrow keys to select the Pen (0 to 7) that you want to prime and press the OK key.
4. The Printer will prime the selected pen and the Front Panel will display the following messages:
Setting pens operational.
Preparing fluid manager.
Priming...
Terminating fluid manager.
Allowing pens not operational.
If there is a failure at this point, the Front Panel will display an error code, troubleshoot the error
using the procedures in Chapter 3 System Error Codes.
5. If the utility exits correctly, OK will be displayed on the Front Panel.
1.8 Heating and Curing
1.8.1 Heating and Curing Temperature Sensors
Description
The Heating and Curing Temperature utility displays the target temperature, current temperature detected
by the temperature sensors, and the power currently applied.
Procedure
1.
Go to Service Menu >1.8 Heating and Curing Menu>1.8.1 Heating and Curing Temperature.
2. The printer displays the current values read by the Temperature Sensors (heating/curing), press any
key to finish the test.
1.8.2 Enable Heating and Curing
Description
This setting enables you to disable the heating system of the printer. This setting is useful for example if
you want to print a quick print to test the printer’s functionality, but did not want to wait for the printer to
heat up to the target temperature.
Procedure
1.
Go to Service Menu >1.8 Heating and Curing Menu>1.8.2 Enable Heating and Curing.
