Corrective Action:
• Switch the Power OFF from the back of the Printer and disconnect the Power cord. Reconnect the
power cord and power On the Printer.
• Check the connections of the ISS PCAs (Upper and Lower) are correctly connected and not
damaged.
• Check with another set of Ink Cartridges, to ensure the error is not with the Ink Cartridges.

Problem Description:
The Carriage PCA has failed to respond.
Corrective Action:
• Switch the Power OFF from the back of the Printer and disconnect the Power cord. Reconnect the
power cord and power On the Printer.
• Check that the Trailing Cable is not damaged.
• Check that the Trailing Cable is correctly connected to the Carriage PCA, Interconnect PCA and to
the Sausalito PCI PCA.

• Replace the Power Supply Unit ⇒ Page 456.
