14. Disconnect the large ribbon cable from the OMAS.
15. Remove the OMAS Sensor from the printer.
Installation
NOTE: To simplify the installation of the OMAS an Attachment Screw Retainer has been added to
hold the two T-20 attachment screws. This part is delivered attached to the replacement OMAS unit
with the two attachment screws. It is also delivered as a separate part with the Print Platen in case the
OMAS is completely removed during its replacement.
1. Check that the two T-20 attachment screws are correctly positioned in the Attachment Screw
Retainer.
