TouchPad with NFC module (includes antenna and tape) 937418-001
Before removing the TouchPad, follow these steps:
1. Turn o the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is o or in Hibernation, turn the computer
on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 26).
5. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 27).
Remove the TouchPad:
1. Disconnect the NFC module antenna cable (1) from the TouchPad, (select models only).
2. Disconnect the TouchPad cable (2) from the system board.
3. Remove the ve Phillips screws (3) that secure the TouchPad to the computer, and then lift the TouchPad
from the computer (4).
Reverse the removal procedures to install the TouchPad.
