2. Open the document feeder. Lift the assembly straight up until it stops (callout 1), and then slightly
tilt it (callout 2) toward the rear of the product. Continue lifting the assembly straight up to remove
it.

Reinstall the document feeder
Install a foam reflector kit on the new document feeder

If a replacement document feeder, image scanner, or both assemblies are installed, you must
install a replacement foam reflector kit. See
Foam reflector kit on page 38.
Calibrate a replacement docuement feeder
1. On the control-panel Home screen, scroll to and touch Device Maintenance.
2. Touch Calibration/Cleaning.
3. Touch Calibrate Scanner.
4. Follow the instructions on the control-panel display.
