Before removing the memory card reader board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 34).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 34).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 37).
Remove the memory card reader board:
1. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the memory card reader board (1).
2. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screw (2) that secures the board to the computer.
3. Remove the board from the computer (3).
Remove the memory card reader board on models equipped with GTX graphics:
1. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the memory card reader board (1).
2. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screw (2) that secures the board to the computer.
