Hard drive
NOTE: The hard drive spare part kit does not include the hard drive brackets or the hard drive cable. The
hard drive brackets are available using spare part number L19469-001. The hard drive cable is available using
spare part number L23889-001

Before removing the hard drive, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 34).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 34).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 37).
Remove the hard drive:
1. Disconnect the hard drive cable from the ZIF connector on the system board (1).
2. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws (2) that secure the hard drive to the computer.
3. Lift the inside of the hard drive up (3), and then remove the hard drive from the computer (4).
