Remove the following screws that secure the top cover to the computer:
(1) Three Phillips PM2.0×2.0 screws in the optical drive bay
(2) Four Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws on the rear edge of the battery bay and the hard drive bay
(3) Three Phillips PM2.5×5.0 screws on the front edge of the battery bay
5. Turn the computer right-side up, with the front toward you.
6. Open the computer.
