Display assembly
Before disassembling the display assembly, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 33).
2. Place the computer in Battery Safe mode (Battery Safe mode on page 33).
3. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 34).
4. Remove the battery (Battery on page 36).
Disassemble the display assembly:
1. Remove the display assembly from the computer:
a. Disconnect the antenna cables from the WWAN module (1) and the WLAN module (2).
b. Disconnect the display cable from the system board ZIF connector (3).
c. Remove the four Torx T8 2.5 × 4.0 screws (1) that secure the display assembly to the computer.
