Before removing the display panel, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 29).
2. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 29).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 30).
Remove the display assembly:
1. Disconnect the left display cable from the system board (1), and then remove the cable from the clips
(2).
2. Disconnect the antenna cables from the WLAN module (3).
3. Disconnect the right display cable from the system board (4), and then remove the cables from the clips
(5).
4. Remove the eight Phillips M2.5 × 7.0 screws (1) that secure the display to the computer.
5. Rotate the computer to open the hinges (2).
