Remove the ngerprint sensor:
1. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screw (1) that secures the ngerprint reader bracket to the computer,
and then remove the bracket (2).
2. Remove the ngerprint reader sensor from the computer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the ngerprint sensor.

Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 29).
2. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 29).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 30).
4. Remove the fan (see Fan on page 41).
5. Remove the system board (see System board on page 45).
6. Remove the display (see Display assembly on page 43).
Remove the power connector cable:
