3. From the outside, rear side of the chassis, remove the silver security screw that secures the
solenoid lock to the chassis.
4. From the inside of the chassis, disconnect the cable (1) from the system board connector labeled
HLOCK.
5. Remove the solenoid lock from the chassis (2).
To install the solenoid lock, reverse the removal procedure.
Refer to the following image for the location of the slots on the back of the chassis in which to install the
solenoid lock. When installing, insert the top tabs into the top slots, and then rotate the lock downward.
Then install the security screw on the outside of the computer. Plug the connector into the system board
connector.
