Hood sensor switch
Follow these steps to remove the hood sensor switch:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 32).
2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 33).
3. Disconnect the hood sensor switch cable (1) from the system board.
4. Release the hood sensor switch (2) from the computer chassis and remove it.
Reverse this procedure to install the hood sensor switch.
