Solid-state drive
Before removing the solid-state drive, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 32).
2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 33).
3. Remove the front bezel (see Front bezel on page 36).
4. Remove the drive cage (see Drive cage on page 40).
Remove the solid-state drive:
1. Remove the Phillips M2.0×3.5 screw (1) that secures the solid-state drive to the system board.
2. Lift the right side of the solid-state drive (2) until it rests at an angle.
3. Remove the solid-state drive (3) by pulling it away from the connector.
NOTE: Solid-state drives are designed with notches to prevent incorrect insertion.
Reverse this procedure to install the solid-state drive.
