Reverse this procedure to install the battery.

Front speakers (include left and right front speakers and cables) 784534-001
Before replacing the front speakers, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4. Remove the keyboard/top cover (see
Keyboard/top cover on page 19).
5. Remove the battery (see
Battery on page 31).
Remove the front speakers:
1. Disconnect the front speaker cable (1) from the system board.
2. Release the front speaker cables from the retention clips (2) built into the base enclosure.
3. Tilt the rear edges of the front speakers (3) up and back to disengage the rear speakers from the clips
built into the base enclosure.
4. Remove the front speakers (4) and cables.
Reverse this procedure to install the front speakers.
