Installing a Hard Drive into the 5.25-Inch Bay (Optional)
If you want to install a hard drive into a 5.25-inch bay, you must install an optional bracket.
1 Lower the hard drive into the bracket and secure the drive by inserting four #6-32 screws (shipped
with this kit) through the holes in the sides of the bracket and into the threaded holes in the hard
drive.
2 Insert the hard drive into the 5.25-inch optical drive bay.
3 After inserting the hard drive into the bay, secure the hard drive to the chassis by inserting one M3
screw (shipped with the bracket kit) into the available opening on the side of the optical drive bay.
4 To complete the installation, follow the instructions for installing your type of hard drive (page 100 or
page 103).
