Card reader
The card reader is secured to the front of the chassis under the front bezel.
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 17).
2. Remove the access panel (Access panel on page 18).
3. Remove the front bezel (Front bezel on page 19).
4. Disconnect the power and data cables from the rear of the drives in the drive cage.
5. Rotate the drive cage up (see Drive cage on page 27)
6. Disconnect the cable (1) from the system board connector, and then remove the cable from the clip (2).
7. Remove the Torx screw that secures the card reader to the front of the chassis (3), and then pull the card
reader away from the front of the chassis (4).
To install the card reader, reverse the removal procedure.
