25. Connecting Your Phone to a Computer
Whenever you connect your phone to the computer with the USB cable, the Connect to
PC screen displays and prompts you to choose the type of connection you want to use.
ActiveSync
Select this mode when you need to sync information and files between your phone and
your computer. For more information about synchronizing data, see “Synchronizing Your
Phone with Your Computer”.
Disk Drive
This mode is available for selection only when there is a microSD storage card installed on
your phone. Select this mode when you want to quickly copy files between your phone’s
storage card and your computer. see “Copying Files to the Storage Card”.
Internet Sharing
When you do not have Internet access on your notebook or desktop computer, you can
select this mode to use your phone as a modem for your computer. For more information
about using Internet Sharing, see the “Internet” chapter in the User Manual PDF.
