Taking burst shots
Do you want to take photos of moving subjects? Whether it’s your kid's football game or a car race,
you can capture the action.
1. On the Home screen, tap the camera icon to open the Camera app.
2. Switch to Photo mode, if you're not in this mode. See Choosing a capture mode on page 43 for
details.
3. Press and hold .
While shooting, you'll see the number of consecutive shots captured. Release the button to
stop capturing.
Taking portraits or selfies
Use these features to capture great-looking portraits or selfies.
Bokeh effect
In Portrait mode, you can take portrait shots or selfies with a nice blurred background.
§ To get a nice blurred background in portrait shots, keep a distance of 2 meters (7 ft) between you
and your subject.
§ You need to be in a well-lit environment.
§ Some features such as HDR, zooming, and flash are not available in Portrait mode.
1. On the Home screen, tap the camera icon to open the Camera app.
2. Switch to Portrait mode. See Choosing a capture mode on page 43.
3. Tap to switch between the front and main cameras.
4. Point the main camera at your subject, or pose at the front camera if you're taking a selfie.

5. Tap , and then set the aperture. A smaller aperture value increases the blur in the
background.
6. When you're ready to take the photo, tap .
