Description
An RS232 cable is used to connect the RS232 interface of a router to a serial interface of a
management computer.

Connection
An RS232 cable is connected as follows:
l The DB9 male connector is connected to the RS232 interface of a router.
l The DB9 female connector is connected to a maintenance terminal, generally a
computer.
