Card Overview
NOTE
l 8: indicates eight interfaces.
l AS: indicates asynchronous serial interface.
An 8AS card is a WSIC card with eight asynchronous serial interfaces, and can work in
protocol or flow mode. It can be connected to a public switched telephone network (PSTN)
through a modem or be used as a serial port server to provide remote management for
terminals.
