9 Messaging
This chapter describes messaging-related operations.
1. On the home screen, press to select Message, and press .
2. On the message screen, press and select Setting.
You can set Font Size for message texts and status message settings.
– The Status Message is a special message which includes pre-defined and status
information. Press the number keys, you can send the corresponding status
message.
– If you enable the parameter Emergency status message by delivering OTA
parameter settings on the eOMC910, you can press the Emergency Call key on top
of the phone body, and the phone will send the emergency status to dispatch
console.
3. Select New Message to create a new message.
4. Enter a phone number or contact name in the recipient text box. Or press
and select
contacts from the Contact list.
5. Compose a message in the message text box.
NOTE
l The maximum size of the message is 1000 bytes.
l
To send a multimedia message, press
. Select Add subject and enter a message subject. Select
Add attach and attach a file.
Available attachment file types include Pictures, Videos, Audio, and Other files.
You can only add one attachment file. And the attachment file must be smaller than 2 MB.
l You can press to switch the input method.
l You can press to insert the emoticon.
l If some texts have been input, you can press to abort them.
6. Press
to send the message.
