11 Media
This chapter describes media-related operations.
On the home screen, press to select Media, and press . The media screen is
displayed. Media functions include Camera, Recorder, Image gallery, Video gallery and
Music.
Camera
Take photos and record videos using the camera, and view the photos and videos in the
DCIM/Camera folder in the storage medium of the phone.
On the viewfinder screen, perform any of the following operations:
l
: Press to open the camera menu.
l : Press to return to the standby screen.
l : When the camera menu is open, press to close the menu. If the camera menu is not
open, press to close the camera and return to an upper-level menu.
l : On the photo viewfinder screen, press to perform focusing or hold down to take a
photo. On the video viewfinder screen, press to start or stop recording a video. On the
camera menu screen, press to confirm your selection.
l Press the Right key of
to switch between taking photos and recording videos.
l Press the Left key of
to switch local or upload mode. In the upload mode, you can
set the dispatcher number and upload a video or photo to the dispatcher.
NOTE
You can hold down the camera key on the side of the EP650 body to enter Camera first, then initiate
quick video uploading or quick photo uploading.
Recorder
Use this function to record voice or other sounds. The maximum recording time is determined
by the storage medium capacity of an EP650.
