Certification Name Description
CE Products with the CE mark comply with the
electromagnetic compatibility directive
(89/336/EEC) and low voltage directive
(73/23/EEC) issued by European
Commission. The CE mark is a mandatory
conformity mark for products placed on the
market in the European Economic Area.
RoHS RoHS restricts the use of certain hazardous
materials in the manufacturing of electronic
and electrical equipment, in consideration of
human health and environmental protection.
RoHS is enforced in each member state of
the European Union.

Reach Reach is the regulation on registration,
evaluation, authorization, and restriction of
chemicals of the European Union.
WEEE The waste framework directive 75/442/EEC
provides a detailed definition on electrical
and electronics waste equipment. The
directive 91/156/EEC revised the definition.
According to the latest definition, "waste"
means any substance or object in the
categories set out in Annex I of WEEE
which the holder discards or intends or is
required to discard, even when the product
lifecycle has not expired.
