l CREDENTIAL STORAGE: Protects users' data security by managing the credential
information used by application programs.
Application Security Settings
l The Auto confirm video sending switch: If the switch is turned off, a video surveillance
service initiated by other UEs or DCs can proceed only after it is confirmed by the
request receiver.
l DFX switch: When a UE is processing a video service, click the caller number or the
contact for consecutively five times to enable or disable the DFX function. After the
DFX function is enabled, information including the packet loss rate and delay jitter of
the video service is displayed on the screen. This operation does not apply to video
uploading services.
l Message > System settings > Change password: This password is used to connect to
the system network. The old password is required for changing the password. The
password complexity requirements are as follows:
– A password must be a string of 6 to 18 characters.
– A password must combine two or more types of characters among uppercase letters,
lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
– Spaces, consecutive percent signs (%%), and special characters such as " ' , ; = &
are not allowed in a password.
l Message > System settings > Connect to Network Server V2.1: If this switch is turned
on, the insecure ZMQ protocol is used to connect to a network of V100R002C00 in order
to implement the status message and GIS configuration and capability reporting. The
ZMQ protocol is an insecure protocol and using this protocol is risky. This switch is
turned off by default. That is, the UE cannot connect to a network of V100R002C00.
Usage Declarations
l Input Method: User's contact information is imported to facilitate input association.
l GIS information reporting: After the employer informs users about GIS information
reporting by means of contracts or corporate rules and regulations, the employer is
allowed to collect location information of users for the purpose of enterprise production
and dispatching only. In addition, location information of a user will be automatically
reported when the user makes a call in emergency mode in the event of an emergency.
Please comply with local laws and regulations in use.
l Usage of IMEI, IMSI information and short numbers: The employer is allowed to view
IMEI and version information of users' UEs on the employer's enterprise servers for the
purpose of enterprise production and dispatching only. In addition, users' UEs register
IMEI, IMSI information and short numbers of users on the employer's enterprise servers
for the purpose of UE version upgrades, configuration management (parameter update,
boot animation update, boot logo update, APK installation etc.), and log uploading only.
Please comply with local laws and regulations in use.
l Automatic software downloading: After users set the automatic software downloading
function, software downloads will automatically start in the background.
l Default log uploading: After users set the default log uploading function, log uploads
will automatically start in the background.
l System service notification: After users enable the system service notification function,
users' UEs register with the eOMC using the short numbers ,IMSIs or IMEIs to receive
system service notifications such as the upgrade notification, configuration management
