4.5 Battery Maintenance

Before operating batteries, read through the battery user manual, safety
precautions, and correct connection methods provided by the battery
manufacturer.
Before installing and maintaining batteries, pay attention to the following points:
● Wrap tools with insulation tape to prevent electric shock.
● Wear protective goggles and take other necessary protective measures.
● Wear rubber gloves and protective clothing to prevent skin contact with
electrolyte in the case of electrolyte
overow.
● When moving batteries, do not place batteries upside down. Handle them
gently, and pay attention to personal safety.
● Keep the battery switch
o during installation and maintenance.
● If the battery warranty period expires, the battery may be aged and cannot
provide backup power properly. Battery aging will cause uncertain failures. You
are advised to periodically check and replace batteries whose warranty period
has expired.
