2.8.8 What can I do if my phone fails to access the Internet?
Insert a micro-SIM card into your phone. The phone then automatically configures APN
settings.
To view the APN settings, choose Settings > Wireless & networks > More... > Mobile
networks > Access Point Names.
If the parameter settings are incorrect, touch . From the displayed option menu, choose
Reset to default.
2.8.9 How do I turn on or turn off the mobile network?
Use either of the following methods:
Go to Settings > Wireless & networks > More... > Mobile networks, and enable or
disable the data service.
In the notification panel, touch to enable the data service. When the data
service is enabled, changes to . To disable the data service,

2.8.10 How do I view my phone's data service status or turn off
the data service?
In the notification panel:

Yes if your phone is connected to a 4G or 3G network, but no if your phone is connected to a
2G network.
2.8.12 How do I switch between 4G, 3G, and 2G networks?
It takes 150s to recover data service when you switch from a 4G network to a 2G network, or
from a 3G network to a 2G network.
