Floating nuts
When fixing the floating nuts, keep a distance of at
least 50 mm on both the left and right sides of the NE
device for proper ventilation.
Installation holes for the floating nut: The three
holes with even spacing equal a 1-U height.
A 1 U device corresponds to holes 1-3, and a 2 U
device corresponds to holes 1-6.

•Install the chassis and align the installation holes of the mounting ears with the floating nuts,
and fasten the two captive screws clockwise.
•Each 2U device requires only one cable tray, which must be installed on the right of the device
(front view).
•If you deploy an NE in the same cabinet as another device, reserve a distance of 1 U or higher
between the two devices for heat dissipation.
