Step 5 Set communication parameters.
When the COM1 Properties dialog box is displayed as shown in Figure 3-4, specify the
parameters listed in Table 3-1.
NOTE
In other Windows operating systems, bits per second may be described as baud rate and data stream control
may be described as traffic control.
