Step 5 Copy the dload folder to the root directory of the microSD card.
Step 6 Ensure that the dload folder contains the UPDATE.APP file.
Step 7 Insert microSD card into the phone and power on the phone. On the home screen, touch
Settings > All > About phone > System Update > Local update > Confirm > Upgrade, as
shown in the following figures.
If you need to back up data, tap Backup data. The phone automatically restarts and then
enters upgrade mode. After the upgrade is complete, the phone restarts automatically.
