CHAPTER 6 – RECHARGING THE SYSTEM
IMPORTANT: The battery becomes warm during recharging, this is
normal. Do not recharge the battery near a heat source.
To recharge the battery using a household power outlet:
• Connect the USB cable to explorē 12's USB charger. Then, carefully
connect the USB cable to your device and plug the charger into an
outlet.
• Let your device charge until the battery is full. It takes approximately
3.5 hours to recharge a device with a depleted battery.
The Battery icon below will display momentarily when the battery starts
charging or when the device is turned on during the recharge process.
The lightning bolt indicates that your device is currently being charged. The
number to the right represents the percentage of battery charge remaining.
Note: The percentage of remaining battery is shown as you move between
tabletop, stand and distance viewing modes, this way, you can maintain
awareness of adequate charging levels to complete your tasks.
Due to lower voltage, charging from the computer USB may be slower. In
some cases, your device may not charge at all, depending on the amount of
power supplied by the computer. The most effective way to recharge the
device is to use the provided USB cable connected to the USB charger
and recharging from a household power outlet.
