8 • Operating and Cleaning Your Fan
8-2. Install the plastic plugs into the remaining holes in the pole. If you
chose not to install the table, you will need to install all the included
plugs.
8-3. Plug the fan into an electrical outlet.

e pull chain has four settings in sequence: High,
Medium, Low and Off.
• Pull the chain slowly to change settings.
• Release slowly to prevent the chain from
recoiling into the blades.

8-6. is fan operates in a downdraft direction only by blowing air
downward (counterclockwise blade rotation) to cool the area with a
direct breeze.
8-7. For cleaning finishes, use a soft brush or lint-free cloth to prevent
scratching. A vacuum cleaner brush nozzle can remove heavier dust.
Remove surface smudges or accumulated dirt and dust using a mild
detergent and a slightly dampened cloth. You may use an artistic
agent, but never abrasive cleaning agents as they will damage the
finish.

Note: If you are not installing the light kit, skip step 8-1.
8-1. Insert a glass shade into a fitter and tighten the
thumbscrews. Repeat for all shades. Install three A-19
medium base 60 Watt max light bulbs.
