3. Put the battery in the battery holder.
CAUTION: Make sure that the
battery is installed correctly into the
battery holder. If the battery does not
move easily into the battery holder, the
position is not correct.
4. Push on the lower part of the battery until you hear a
click.
5. Push and hold the start/stop button until a green
LED light comes on.
WARNING:
If you start the product in
a tree, engage the chain brake before you
lower the product onto its strop.
To use the SavE function
The SavE function decreases the chain speed and the
power of the product.
1. Push the SavE button quickly. The green LED
comes on.
2. Push the SavE button again to disconnect the
function. The green LED goes off.
To engage and disengage the heat in
the handles (T540i XPG)
The product has heated handles.
• Push and hold the SavE button for 1 second to
engage the heat in the handles. The indicator for
heat in the handles comes on.
• Push the SavE button quickly to disengage the heat
in the handles. The indicator for heat in the handles
goes off.
Oil level indicator
The oil level indicator shows when it is time to fill chain
oil.
1. When the oil level indicator comes on, fill with chain
oil. Refer to
To use the correct chain oil on page 14
.
2. Start the product and wait 1-2 minutes. The oil level
indicator goes off.
To stop the product
1. Push and hold the start/stop button until the green
LED light comes off.
