General information about working
technique
Below we give you some general information about how
to use this product.
WARNING: The information related to
working technique in this operator's manual

this tree-service product. This product must
be used by tree-service operators with
special training only! Use without the correct

To cut on the pull stroke is when you cut with the
bottom of the guide bar. The saw chain pulls through
the tree when you cut. In this position you have
better control of the product and the position of the
kickback zone.
To cut on the push stroke is when you cut with the
top of the guide bar. The saw chain pushes the
product in the direction of the operator.
WARNING:
Be careful when you
cut on the push stroke. If the saw chain
gets trapped in the trunk, the product
can be pushed at you. You must prevent
this force or there is a risk that the
kickback zone of the guide bar touches
the tree. This will lead to a kickback.
Use full power when you cut.
Let go of the power trigger after each cut.
CAUTION: Motor damage can
occur if you run the motor for too long
at full power and without load. One
example is if you cut without resistance
from the saw chain.
