Why won't my Husqvarna 281 XP engine start?

Several factors can prevent your Husqvarna Chainsaw engine from starting. It could be due to blocked starter pawls, which require replacement. Ensure you're using the correct fuel type; if not, drain the tank and refill. A dirty or wet spark plug can also be the culprit—make sure it's dry and clean. Check that the electrode gap is correct and the spark plug is properly tightened. Lastly, if the engine is flooded from repeated starts with full choke, remove and clean the spark plug, lay the chainsaw on its side (spark plug hole facing away), pull the starter rope 6-8 times, then reassemble the spark plug and attempt to start the chainsaw.
