3. Before Use
3.1 Install the Nano SIM Card
Open the card slot cover.
Unlock the Nano SIM card flip cover according to the instructions on it.
Insert the Nano SIM card into the slot.
Lock the flip cover and slot cover, as shown in the following figure.
3.2 Attach and Remove the Battery
 Use only the Hytera standard or optional battery. Polarity reverse or use of other batteries may result
in explosion and fire hazards.
 Dispose of used batteries in accordance with the "Recycling and Handling Safety Precautions" in the
Safety Information Manual.

Attach the battery
a.
Align the two protrusions on the top of the battery with the two holes on the battery slot.
b.
Press the bottom of the battery down into the battery slot.
c.
Slide the battery latch to the left until you hear a click.
