Forms Thickness Control Lever
The Forms Thickness Control lever adjusts the position
of the print head to allow room for single sheets or
multiple-copy forms. Move the lever toward the rear
for single sheets, and toward the front for
multiple-copy forms.
This lever can affect print darkness.
If
the printing
is
too light, move the lever toward the rear
of
the printer;
if the printing
is
smeared, move the lever toward the
front. The best position for the lever
is
as far to the
front
of
the printer as possible while still getting good
print with a good condition ribbon installed.
Warning: Positioning the Forms Thickness Control
lever too far to the rear for the forms being used
will result in premature wear of the print head and
platen.
