Handling Static-Sensitive Devices
Some
of
your options
can
be
damaged by static
discharge.
To
prevent this damage, the options are
wrapped in anti-static bags.
Certain
precautions must
be
taken
before removing
an
option from its bag.

Hold
the
option (still wrapped in its anti-static
bag)
in
one
hand
and
touch a metal
part
of
your
system unit with the
other
hand.
