PCIe Binary Synchronous Adapter (FC EN13 and FC EN14; CCIN 576C)
Learn about the features of the PCIe Binary Synchronous Adapters.
The PCIe Binary Synchronous Adapter is a full-high PCIe adapter with one RVX communication port that
can be used for binary synchronous communication using an external, client-provided modem. Port 1 is
the RVX port that provides Bisync capability. Port 0 is the modem port and does not provide Bisync
capabilities.
EN13 is the non-CIM (Complex Impedance Matching) version offered in all countries and regions except
Australia and New Zealand.
EN14 is the CIM (Complex Impedance Matching) version offered only in Australia and New Zealand.
Note: FC EN13 and EN14 are only supported in the IBM i operating system.
