Application
The pumps referred to in this manual are designed to pump clean water from bore-
holes or to increase the pressure in water supply systems when the unit is installed in
a hermetic casing. The pumps can be used on farms for water supply, irrigation, heat
pump installations or water supply of industrial systems. The pumped water must
not contain mechanical impurities.
The pump is designed for pumping water without any grinding solids. Pumping water
that contains sand will lead to rapid wear of the pump and subsequent malfunction.
In such case, repair can be carried out only against payment.
The above does not apply to pumps with enhanced sand resistance: for these pumps,
the maximum sand content in the water must not exceed 5%. The maximum content
of dissolved solids must not exceed 55 kg/m3. Note that the life of a pump, even one
with enhanced sand resistance, will be considerably shorter if the pump is pumping
water contaminated with sand. Wear and tear on sand pumping components is not
subject to warranty repairs. This is operational wear and tear.
The pump is not suitable for pumping corrosive, ammable, destructive or explosive
substances (e.g. petrol, nitro, petroleum, etc.), foodstus or salty water. Malfunctions
caused by the pumping of such liquids are not subject to warranty repairs.
The maximum temperature of the pumped water is 35°C.
The pump is not suitable for pumping water with excessive content of minerals that
cause limescale deposits on the pumping components. Operating the pump under
such conditions will lead to premature wear of the working components. In such case,
repair can be carried out only against payment.
The pumped water must not contain long-bre contaminants.
The pump must not pump water containing oil or petroleum-based substances. Ope-
rating the pump in such water will lead to damage of rubber components, e.g. the
cable or seals, resulting in pump leakage and motor failure. In such case, repair can
be carried out only against payment.
