Pump installation
The pump motor is lled with environmentally friendly oil. In the event of a motor
failure, oil may leak into the well.
Before lowering the pump into a new well, make sure that the well drilling company
has cleaned it by pumping the water. During the well drilling, the water inside the
casing pipe and filter becomes contaminated with silt and sand. Pumping water that
contains sand reduces the service life of submersible pumps considerably.
When setting the pressure switch and selecting the hydrophore tank, the rule of thumb
is that the pump motor should not switch on more than 30 times per hour. More
frequent switching can lead to motor overload and failure, or pump failure.
Nominal diameter of pumps:
• 2STING – 50 mm;
• 3”SQIBO, 3SCR – 75 mm
• 3ti, 3SDm – 74 mm
• 3,5SCM, 3,5SDM
• 3,5”SRH – 90 mm
• 2,5STm – 66 mm
• 3,5SCR – 88 mm
• 3STm – 75 mm
Electrical connection
The pump must be connected to the electrical mains with an eective gro-
unding. The manufacturer and guarantor shall be released from any liability for
damages to persons or property resulting from connecting the pump to the mains
without proper grounding. The yellow-green conductor of the connection cable is
earthed.
The electrical mains supplying the pump should be tted with an overcurrent mo-
tor circuit breaker e.g. M611 to protect the motor against overload. In order for the
circuit breaker to eectively protect the motor against overload, it should be set to
the winding current indicated on the nameplate.
The pump can be operated without such protection, but in the event of a failure
due to overload, the repair costs will be borne by the user.
The power supply system for the pump should be equipped with a dierential
current circuit breaker with ∆I rated activation current not exceeding 30 mA. The
manufacturer and guarantor shall be released from any liability for damages to
persons or property resulting from connecting the pump to the mains without
a proper circuit breaker.
No people or animals are allowed in the water where the pump is operating.
