Troubleshooting
Symptom Possible cause Problem solution
The pump is
not working
Dry-running protection
has tripped
Wait until there is enough water in the well
for the pump to start automatically
Overcurrent protection
has tripped
Check why the overload occurred. Eliminate the cause.
Wait until the motor cools down andswitch on the
pump using the switch built into the safety box
No power supply
Check that the electrical plug of the pump isproperly
inserted in the electrical socket
Check the fuses in the house and any type ofinstalla-
tion fuses that can cut o the mains supply
Check that there is power in the area around your
home - electricity may be disconnected bythe power
company in a wider area
Abnormal voltage
or voltage drop atstar-
t-up
Check the voltage. Check that the cross-section of the
power supply cable is appropriate
Locking
of the oat
switch
Check that the oat switch has not snagged onthe
well wall or any object
The pump is

Swap the two wires of the supply cable on thepower
strip (only for three-phase motors)
Incorrectly connected conductors in the protection
box (only if they have been previously disconnected
by the user). Makethecorrect connection. Commis-
sion thecorrect connection to a service centre
