Internal Conductor Identification
Internal conductors/wires are identified by the terminal no. off the component in which they are installed.
Colour markings internal conductors
Conductor colours used internally in the control panel are in compliance with EN60204-1.
- black: AC & DC power circuits
- light blue: Neutral conductor in power circuits
- yellow/green: Protection earth
- red: AC control circuits
- dark blue: DC control circuits
- orange: Control circuits supplied from an external power source
Colour markings external conductors (cables)
The table below show the English abbreviations used for connection lines (wires in cables).
The colour markings are compliant with DS/EN 60757.
