4.1 Requirements for the hardware configuration
The following requirements must be met when using the G1502S safety relay:
4.1.1 Product-independent requirements
It must be ensured that the safety requirements of the respective application
correspond to the requirements stated in these instructions�
The specified technical data indicated in these instructions must be complied with�
The principle of normally closed operation must be applied to all external safety
circuits connected to the system�
The safety relays type G1502S in operation have to be subjected to a self-test
(switching off) within a period of maximum 1 month.
The self-test can be carried out by switching the supply voltage off and on or by a
safety request�
4.1.2 Product-dependent requirements
In case of faults within the safety relay which result in the defined safe state, the
safety relay must be replaced�
Any faulty unit should be returned to the manufacturer�
