Q: What is a Passkey?
A Passkey (or Passcode) is a number of digits (of your choosing), that you
enter first on your BlackBerry keypad, and click the Trackball or Track
Wheel, and then via the Bluetooth keyboard, using <LFn>+<numbers>
followed by <Enter>. This creates a pairing between your devices for
connection and reconnection. (see
Connecting the Stowaway Ultra-Slim
keyboard #3)
Q: What do I do when I receive a Not Connected (or other status)
message, and I simply can’t get beyond it in order to connect?
A. When you find yourself unable to connect, despite your efforts. Invoke
the Terminate Driver command on the BlackBerry menu in the Stowaway
keyboard application, then re-launch the application. Use the connection
procedures outlined in this manual to try again. If you’re still having
difficulty, removing and reinstalling the keyboard application via BlackBerry
Desktop ManagerApplication Loader. (See
Installing the Software)
