Working with the sample rack and balance
If a balance is connected to the IKA
®
C 6000
global standards/isoperibol calorimeter, the
weighted sample can be sent directly from the
balance to the IKA
®
C 6000 global standards/
isoperibol calorimeter.
There are two possibilities:
a) Press the “Print” button on the balance:
Pressing the “Print” button automatically opens
the preparation dialogue box and the
weighted sample value is entered automatically.
If External Energy 2 is not set to user-defined, the
first weighted sample value is entered into the
weighted value field for External Energy 2 and the
energy is calculated automatically.
If External Energy 2 is set to user-defined, the
weighted sample value is entered directly into the
test weighted value field and the second weigh-
ted sample value is entered into the External Ener-
gy 3 field (as long as it is not set to user-defined).
The energy values are calculated automatically
based on the weighted sample and
reference calorific value entered.
The sequence of figures transferred is as follows:
1. Weight External Energy 2 (if not user-defined)
2. Test weighted sample
3. Weight External Energy 3 (if not user-defined)
