Outputs.
is is a unipolar relay that controls the circulator (M1), which is powered when operation is
required.
Pump relay
(K2)
With this signal the ignition control unit can be released after the overheating safety device and
no-ignition safety device have triggered.
is is done by pressing the reset button PU1 on the boiler control panel or, if mounted, on the
remote control panel (see CAR operation).
Reset
is is a unipolar relay excited when the burner has to be ignited.
By means of its contact, the ignition control unit is energised.
Request relay
(K3)
It is a positive square-wave signal with variable ON-OFF ratio (duty-cycle) that controls the fan.
It permits varying the flow of air to the Venturi pipe and consequently the pressure of the gas to
the burner.
Fan
is signal enables the zone control unit to know the operating condition of the appliance (d.h.w./
heating) and, if installed, to recognise the CAR as the room thermostat of zone 1 (see zone control
unit operation).
Zone control unit (CZ)
(external optional)
anks to this signal boiler temperature can be seen on the Amico Remote Control display as
well as the d.h.w. or heating operation, triggered alarm codes and the temperature measured by an
external probe
(if any).
Amico Remote Control (CAR)
(optional)
(see CAR operation)
Adjustements.
Depending on the selected range, the water temperature can be set for central heating between 25ºC
and 85ºC or between 25ºC and 45ºC.
Heating potentio. (HEAT.)
Pump selector switch
(CM1)
With the SUM/WIN switch on WINTER the circulator can work continu-
ously or only when requested by the room thermostat.
Absent = continuous
Funct.
Present = TA
requested Funct.
e domestic hot water temperature can be set with this potentiometer between 20°C and 60°C.
D.h.w. potentio. (D.h.w.)
is is a relay for powering the electric 3-way diverter valve motor (M3). It is excited with a central
heating request: It remains idle with a domestic hot water request.
3-way diverter valve relay
(K1)
is is a clean-contact switch that enables operation in the heating phase
when room temperature is below that required.
Room thermostat (TA)
(external optional)
Open = heating
OFF
Closed = heating
ON
is is a square wave signal detected by a Hall effect sensor fitted in the fan.
It enables the board to read fan speed and correct this if it is different to that required.
