In the event of the pump being blocked or of there being no water in the
primary circuit, this device does not enable burner ignition and interrupts
power to relay K3.
When it closes with the pump off, burner ignition is not enabled in the
heating, d.h.w. or chimneysweep modes.
No-water safety device
(S2)
Twin-contact switch
Inputs.
is sends signals to the board relating to operation requests concerning the possible linked zone
valves / external pumps (see area control unit operation).
Zone control unit (CZ)
(external optional)
is indicates whether the domestic hot water (SUMMER) or d.h.w. and
heating (WINTER) functions are enabled.
Main switch
(S1)
Open = summer
Closed=winter
is signal is sent by the control unit (IGN BOARD) indicating a burner ignition failure.
e alarm is displayed by means of an error code on the board display (01) or on the Amico
Remote Control if mounted (see CAR operation).
Flame block
is signal which indicates energising of the gas valves main coils (Y1) by
means of an optoisolator.
is enables the board to determine and display any tripping of the
overheating safety thermostat (E4) or the possible tripping of the fume
thermostat (E6).
Overheating block
(IC1)
230 Vac = coils
energised
0 Vac = coils not
energised
is signal comes from the control unit and indicates that a flame has been detected.
It enables the board to increase fan speed after limiting it during the ignition phase.
Flame detection
is sends signals from the SUMMER/WINTER selector switch, from the d.h.w. and heating
temperature setting and from the heating request (time, room temp.), to the board. When the CAR
is installed, the room thermostat must be disconnected without re-establishing the existing jumper
X20.
Amico Remote Control (CAR)
(optional)
(see CAR operation)
When pressed it releases the circuit after the overheating safety device and
no-ignition safety device have triggered.
If this is kept pressed for at least 10 seconds, without a request being made,
when it is released the “chimneysweep” function is engaged.
Reset button
(PU1)
Twin-contact but-
ton
is element can be varied in a way proportionate to the outside
temperature.
It enables the modulating control board to vary the system delivery tem
-
perature according to the outside temperature.
External sensor (B3)
(external optional)
PTC sensor
1 kohm 25 °C
is element can be varied in a way inversely proportionate to the
temperature of the primary circuit delivery water temperature. It is used
as a limit thermostat (90ºC).
Heating sensor
(B1)
NTC sensor
10 kohm 25 °C
is element can be varied in a way inversely proportionate to the outlet
temperature of the water inside the external storage tank. It is connected
to the terminals where resistance R1 is connected which, along with the
coupling to the storage tank, must be eliminated.
Domestic hot water sensor
(B4) (optional)
NTC sensor
10 kohm 25 °C
It enables operation in the heating phase only, simulating a storage tank
water temperature higher than the maximum settable temperature. It
is connected to the terminals where the storage tank sensor (if used) is
connected (B4).
D.h.w. inhibition element
(R1)
2.2 kohm 1/4 W
heating element
